West Preston CC would like to congratulate Brendan Whiting and Tyson Lackovic for being awarded the Fred Perry Best Club Person for Season 2021/22.

In his short time at our Club, Brendan has played a major role in our Junior program, coaching the Under 10’s for the last 2 seasons. On occasion, in a rush to get to the game, straight from work, he even turned up in his hospital scrubs! Above and beyond.

With our Junior numbers jumping up, and a second Under 12’s team required, another coach was needed. Tyson’s name was suggested as a possible option, and he wasted no time in accepting and taking on the role. Not only did he do a fantastic job, he even put on the whites for a few games when the 3rd XI was low on numbers.

All sports clubs rely on selfless people to fill roles around the club, and with these two guys we really feel we’ve struck gold. It’s an honour to add these 2 names to the Best Club Person board. 👏👏👏
